Nothing is more important to Dr. Haik than giving his patients the best vision possible. Dr. Haik is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and has been in the practice of ophthalmology for over 35 years. He attended Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and completed his medical training at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. His post graduate training was completed with an internship and residency at LSU Hospital in Shreveport, LA.
While staying on top of all the latest procedures, Dr. Haik has remained focused on keeping these techniques safe with consistent and reliable outcomes for patients with glaucoma, cataracts, and refractive disorders. Not only does Dr. Haik use the latest treatments for eye disorders, he has also been instrumental in bringing refractive surgery (LASIK) to Northeast Louisiana. His experience led to input into the design of our state-of-the-art Surgery Center.
